Served on the Lafayette School District Governing Board for 13 years. Currently on the boards of the Lafayette Historical Society, the Lafayette Improvement Association, and the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland. Married to Daryl McCosker for 40 years with three adult children and nine grandchildren.
